Life

Life After Graduation
Is not all its cracked up to be.  Yesterday i had the joy of running to New Jersey to spend some time at my old stomping grounds of Kean University because I will not be able to attend Homecoming this weekend (boooooo).
Work has taken over my life. Since I work overnights, I literally come home at about 7/8AM, sleep till about 1:15PM, workout/go to the gym, cook&eat, sleep, and go back to work. That is my life. I'm paying my bills and trying to save for a car and get ready for these loan payments im gonna be making probably next month. Its just repetition and boring.
lol.
But it is what it is.
Back at Kean, I saw some of the underclassmen i was cool with and I told everyone to enjoy college as much as you can. Dont rush anything. If you want to do something, do it (but dont die, seriously). College is a learning experience and you're on your own. Once college is over, you'll be back at your parents house living the grown up life of pure boredom and fun every so-often. Maybe that doesn't hold true for everyone, but its the majority. Our generation is tight and really not in a great position once we cross that stage. I find it extremely disrespectful and an insult that some of my friends cannot get a job because they are "overqualified".
OVERQUALIFIED.
Bullshit.
It obviously gets me upset because we put in so much to get that degree and we'll spend the rest of our lives paying back the government for an education to get a job with a salary that we cannot even enjoy.
That's the shit I dont like.
Excuse my language but i am upset and that's how i get when i am upset.
My godsis and I were discussing this last night over dinner and we were both not hype on the fact that paying back these loans so soon out of college will put you in debt and your credit score will be shit. She pays about $600 every month in just school loans pack to the government. I feel like i'll be living with my parents until im 40 and i should just marry some wealthy guy. its extremely discouraging, not being able to save up for the long haul.
smh.
Lastly, i guess all i left to say is, Vote.
Vote.

Peace&Love,
Curty.
