2 Terms

Okay so Obama won a tight race but he did it. Now let's move on with it. Yes I'm glad our President is Black for another four years but geez.......some people are taking it too far, like people who I wouldn't expect.....They are the ones i am talking about....the ones that don't know anything about politics but only voted because Obama is black smh. it's important to know the issues at hand.....
Welp, I see my vote counted and I'm happy about that....
In other news
Everytime i go to the Nike store, I buy something...even if its to return an item, i'll be in the sale section getting something. Well, my logical explanation is i got paid and I been working hard so I deserve a little something. Whenever I get something from the Nike store, I KNOW i am going to use it so why not...plus i work out just about everyday and all i wear nowadays is workout clothes because i dont go anywhere fancy smancy anymore and i already have clothes for all that soooooo....
Speaking of working out, i have come to the realization that I like men with bald heads
lol
but it only works if you're fit&in shape.
No way am i looking for a bald headed guy who does not work out.....IT will not work out.....you gotta have one with the other. cant be bald and a little on the heavy side and under 25.
now at the gym i go to, there are alot of bald african american men that look very fit and me likey
:)
and they are older than 25 (of course), and if you know me, you know how i do

He Said

One of my boys said you haven't lived until you have lived on your own, outside your parents' house and them not helping you with your bills and to some degree, i def agree. Some kids say they're on their own but their parents pay for everything with no input from themselves....
Sure i've lived on my own, but my parents paid certain expenses and i paid for certain things, but i still felt the struggle. you cannot do as much as you would if you were under your parents' roof b/c you have to spend your money wisely.
And now that i am back home, i really haven't done much put get on the daily grind and that grown-up life of working, cooking, exercising, and spending time with family. There have been dates here and there, and thats all its been, a date...no second....
But back to the task at hand.
Money.
So for me, that means strictly paying my bills and balancing my spending with whatever's coming in, basically not spending beyond my means like i used to. I would like to think i've cut my spending at some point but now i just think it's because i have a better paying job where i can disperse my money evenly while having a nice amount to put in my two savings accounts and my pocket.
:)
Money does make the world go round.
Sad but true.

Oh and Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
I've known this woman since 4th grade. She has grown into a woman all her own. She has gotten married and lives in New Orleans with her military beau. She's also preggers and beautiful. Her babygirl, Samone is soon to be in the world and I have.
And i am proud to a Godmother
:)
Well, thats all.
happy birthday.

Life

Life After Graduation
Is not all its cracked up to be.  Yesterday i had the joy of running to New Jersey to spend some time at my old stomping grounds of Kean University because I will not be able to attend Homecoming this weekend (boooooo).
Work has taken over my life. Since I work overnights, I literally come home at about 7/8AM, sleep till about 1:15PM, workout/go to the gym, cook&eat, sleep, and go back to work. That is my life. I'm paying my bills and trying to save for a car and get ready for these loan payments im gonna be making probably next month. Its just repetition and boring.
lol.
But it is what it is.
Back at Kean, I saw some of the underclassmen i was cool with and I told everyone to enjoy college as much as you can. Dont rush anything. If you want to do something, do it (but dont die, seriously). College is a learning experience and you're on your own. Once college is over, you'll be back at your parents house living the grown up life of pure boredom and fun every so-often. Maybe that doesn't hold true for everyone, but its the majority. Our generation is tight and really not in a great position once we cross that stage. I find it extremely disrespectful and an insult that some of my friends cannot get a job because they are "overqualified".
OVERQUALIFIED.
Bullshit.
It obviously gets me upset because we put in so much to get that degree and we'll spend the rest of our lives paying back the government for an education to get a job with a salary that we cannot even enjoy.
That's the shit I dont like.
Excuse my language but i am upset and that's how i get when i am upset.
My godsis and I were discussing this last night over dinner and we were both not hype on the fact that paying back these loans so soon out of college will put you in debt and your credit score will be shit. She pays about $600 every month in just school loans pack to the government. I feel like i'll be living with my parents until im 40 and i should just marry some wealthy guy. its extremely discouraging, not being able to save up for the long haul.
smh.
Lastly, i guess all i left to say is, Vote.
Vote.

Peace&Love,
Curty.

After.....
running 5 miles
washing and doing my hair
looking over my bills
ordering my senior portraits (after forever)
looking and still not cleaning my room
blogging
smh
Nap time.

Let's Dance a Little Harder

Well i technically dont have anyone to dance with, but i'll dance with myself. I usually do that and rock it anyways
:)
of course everyone knows what i've been up to....my life seems textbook.
work
run
eat
sleep
AND IN THAT ORDER!!!
lol well not really but that's what my life consists of.
Whenever i dont get a run in, i feel so guilty and go extra hard the next day.
I love that feeling. i dont know why people dont workout/be active more.
Someone once asked if i was "training" for something. I simply said "Yes, I am training for life".
Being healthy and happy will help you live longer and be happier.
Whenever someone talks shit to me or tries to get me heated, i just say "i bet i can run a faster mile than you can".....
Eureka!
you really cant tell me anything
lol
im horrible but in the best way possible.
As of right now, i'm tryna log 100 miles this month. I started on August 24 and I end September 24 of course. I started out at 2.5 miles a day but put the ante on myself and bumped it up to 5. Hopefully i'll be able to keep moving up my distance so i can get to that 100 sooner than expected.

People Go Be Active.
That's All I Ask.
You'll Feel Agazzillion times better.

Peace&Love.

Bean Town

Spent this Labor Day weekend with my reflection up in Boston. We went to see the Miami Hurricanes take on and demolish Boston College. Then we got the chance to take a tour of Fenway Park. All in all, Boston is a great city. Definitely drive-able city and the people are great. I wouldn't mind living in that city at all. Going there, i'm not thinking about jersey or even nyc anymore.
Speaking of NYC. today is the West Indian Parade in Brooklyn. I am not in attendance because i'm pooped and its raining and its kinda cold. I dont go to NYC on those conditions.....Hopefully everyone has a great time and stays safe this year.
Peace&Love
